Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chairside Assistant / Sterilization Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, and passionate about supporting both clinical excellence and patient comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
Chairside Assisting Duties:
- Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
- Maintain clear, organized treatment rooms.
- Take and process dental radiographs (if certified).
- Accurately document procedures and update patient records.
Sterilization Duties:
- Maintain sterilization logs and equipment maintenance records.
- Monitor inventory of clinical supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
- Ensure operatories are fully stocked and prepared for procedures.
Qualifications:
- Prior dental assisting experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate).
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
